Monitor active programs on the dock?

Heya, just tuning in to ask if there is a widget or gadget (or whatever you young people call it these days) to monitor all my active programs through the dock.
I am allready aware that I can minimize programs down to it, but I'd like to be able to see all windows on the dock, just like a taskbar.

Is this possible?

Both the free and the plus dock show running applications.  You are looking for a docklet (yes, that is the correct term ;)) to do the same?

I don't recall seeing one but it may exist.  Have you checked the docklet gallery? https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?libid=29&cat=Docklets

Yeah, I've had a go at the gallery. :)
When they show running applications I assume you mean the little arrow pointing at my Firefox icon if I have an instance of Firefox running, what I want is to see every window I got running on the dock.
In other words: I'd like to have the minimized window without having to minimize the window. :D
