C:\Users\USERNAME HERE\AppData\Local\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Save-SinglePlayer

You can delete them manually this way.

I'm wondering why it is that the Sins Save game files are in a hidden folder on C:\

Well, for me anyway, AppData is a hidden folder. I know the reason why SoaSE places save games onto the C: drive is so that it can get Games for Windows certification, but in the AppData folder? Civ IV: BTS places saves games in the C:\Users\[USER NAME]\Documents\My Games folder. Some games place it in the parent directory (ie: in the documents folder).

It just seems out of the way to have it in the AppData folder, especially considering without turning on the show hidden files and folders option, I wouldn't even know it was there.

I'm sure there is a good reason for it.

Go to controll pannel. Classic View.

Open Folder Options, and look around in there.

There should be an option to SHOW hidden folders.

Vista. Vista doesn't like programs that try to save data into the programs folder so it overides the intended destination creating a new folder tree in the AppData folder. The program itself isn't actually trying to save it to the AppData folder.

Games are starting to use the Documents\My Games for saves because they know if they try to put the saves folder inside the program folder it will end up in the AppData folder instead.
