question?

now that my initial guestion of what this data is has been answered.  how can i tweek this data along with the individual ships to make shields stronger but stay down longer once a ship has lost its shields?

shieldAbsorbGrowthPerDamage 0.001

shieldAbsorbDecayRate 0.0125

shieldAbsorbBaseMin 0.15

I do believe that is referring to shield mitigation.
I would think that
shieldAbsorbGrowthPerDamage = how fast the mitigation goes up,
shieldAbsorbDecayRate = how fast it goes down,
shieldAbsorbBaseMin = the minimum mitigation,
shieldColor is self explanatory.

The colour isn't used btw, unless you edit the shader files.

thank you. i never quite understood mitigation. all i know about it is that ships dont loose shields as fast with it. yeah it was just a copy paste i knew about color
