Pinning a Superweapon - Superweapon hotkey?

I keep losing my superweapons!

I have played enough Sins to be dangerous to myself.

I keep losing my Superweapons! I played one game and had 5 of them and gave up and just set them all to autofire because I got tired of trying to find them.

Has anyone got any suggestions on a way to keep track of them through a hotkey or some way to pin them to the left command bar?

I'd like to be able to get to one quick or even cycle through multiple superweapons.

Any ideas?

I never build them--my research is always more oriented towards the economy and improving my combat ships. But I think if you could select one, you could assign it to a Control Group--for example, Ctl-7. I know you can assign things like strike craft and civilian ships to control groups, and I'm pretty sure static defenses as well, so there should be no reason why you can't do the same for a Super.

Yes, you can assign them to a control group, and then just tab-cycle through them.

You can also pin them to the empire tree, but as with everything else it will display the planet and its gravity well, not just the lone building.

i usually set crtl-1 first cap ship, ctrl-2 closest frigate factory, ctrl-3 to ctrl-0 superweapons
