easily - 1Gb ram would be fine - much better with 2Gb

(I have an AMD FX60 - it eats GalCiv - you'll have no issues)

edit button went again ....

I also run two Climate Change models from climateprediction.net in the background as well as GalCiv - still doesnt even cough at the load. You'll have no problems.

RAM to spare, the cpu cant process more than 2Gb anyway
