1.05 and 1.03 upgrade installation isses

Hey guys,
I am having issues intsalling any upgrades:
 
- Installed game and it worked 100% w/o any upgrade.
- Installed 1.05 patch and 1.03 with minidump notifications and game crash.
- Uninstalled game and retried patch upgrade 3 times w/no luck.

 
Here are my PC specifications:
 
- Asus® P5N-E SLI nForce 650i SLI, Socket 775, PCI-E, DDR2 
- ProcessorIntel® Core™ 2 Quad processor Q6600, quad 2.4GHz cores, 8MB L2 Cache 
- CPU CoolingArctic Cooling® Freezer 7 Pro Heatsink, Ultra Quiet Fan, Copper Heat Pipes, plus Arctic Silver™ 5 Thermal Compound 
- Platform Performance OptimizationAdvanced CPU, Motherboard, and Memory Performance Optimization 
- DDR2 Memory2048MB Corsair™ DDR2 PC6400 DDR2-800 (2x1024)
- Dual NVIDIA GTS - 8800 320MB - SLI
- Windows VISTA 32 bit os..

 I sent the minidump file to tech support and have had no response.

Any help would be appreciated.

Installing an older patch over a newer one is going to break your game. You should only install the latest patch, it already includes all older changes and will work on any version from release up to the previous.

If you sent the dump to [email protected] (not [email protected]), they should gt to look at it today or tomorrow (offices are closed on weekends).

I also updated to 1.05 from a new purchase and new when I 'quite game' I get a mini-dump error message

also mini-dumps when I try to load mods.

Attempting to load save-games from older game versions, or older MOD's etc. will also break your game (mini-dump).


Install fresh, play a new game (no MOD's) and everything should work just fine (providing your drivers etc. are all up-to-date).


MOD's are not the responsibility of the DEVS and therefore if the game runs well from a fresh install and not attempting to use an old save-game you'll have to ask the MOD'ders to update their respective mods.
