Are there bigger starmaps than 22x22 somewhere ?
I want to know this, because ..
- I'm a builder
- I want to play with all races
- I need a "little bit more realism"
With the current maps I usually have contact with other races very quickly, often within the first turns. As you know that's not good for builder games, because you need to develope offensive and defensice techs too early with no change to get up the planets and explore the galaxy and build up a good civilization.
Currently I reduce the number of races to 3 so ( with luck ) I can play my kind of game, but something's missing. I know, a game with such a big map will need lots of patience and time but that's no problem.
I searched and found many, many mods but no such starmap. Am I the only one with such thoughts ?
