WindowBlinds on Dual Monitor

WindowBlinds slow on copy, move and delete on dual monitor setup

Hi,

I'm using WindowBlinds for some time now (v6). At some time I noticed that the windows actions like Copy, Move and Delete were very slow. It takes about a minute before the animations (for copy, move or delete) appear and the actual process starts. After a lot of testing I discovered that this was related to my Dual Monitor setup in combination with Window Blinds. I tested WindowBlinds on a single monitor setup (just disabled the second monitor) and it worked like a charm. Than I tested my Dual Monitor again, but without WindowBlinds and it also worked splendid. But when I have both, and I do want that, it's almost unworkable. Every copy action takes a minute to start. So everytime I have a lot of copying to do, I have to disable WindowBlinds.

I did try this on 2 different PC's, both on WinXP. Both PC's had the same results. Oh and by the way, both PC's had different video adapters (one NVidia and the other ATI).

Does anyone have a solution for this, or possibly a software fix??

I use 2 dual monitor setups as well as several single monitor setups and I can see no difference using Exploder ;)
Having said that....the Explorer copy routine sucks anyway. Try an alternative like SuperCopier2 and see if it helps. WWW Link :)

Are you using ultramon?

I use a dual monitor setup myself and have never seen any problems with delays.  WB doesn't care how many monitors you have.
