Possible solution to Solving Install issue

Hello everyone:
Like a previous poster in this forum I could not install the game. I received an error message that an important file was missing.
I have two optical drives on my computer. The error message was reported when I tried to install the game using a Plextor PX755-A drive.
I was able to install the game using my second optical drive, a Lite-On DVD SHD-16S1S drive.
I have the DVD version of the game.
Maybe this can help someone out.
