Changing screen resolution?

    The available screen resolutions the game has dont fit my screen, I run all of my other games in 1280x720, is there a way i can do that with this game as well or is it impossible? I ran Galciv2: Dreadlords in 1280x720 but when i booted up Twilight of the Arnor it was in a different resolution. And I check the my documents/my games/galciv2/prefs and it still says the resolution is 1280x720, so where is the prefs thing for twilight of the arnor, if there is any? All I want to know is how to change the resolution! Thanks

Go into "Options" on the opening menu screen, look for the Video Tab, then look top left. You will see a video resolution drop down box. 1280x720 doesnt show up in mine on the list, so if you need that, select "Custom Resolution" on the drop down box.

The game is best played configured for the same resolution as the underlying desktop screen, you can get some issues at times when they are different - not always, but it does happen from time to time.

If that doesnt work, post again, you can directly edit a configuration file, but as always with edits like that, its always best to use the interface wherever possible.

It is easy enough to edit the Prefs.ini file. (Each version of the game has its own Prefs.ini, so make sure you edit the correct file)

Load it in a text editor like Notepad, and change these lines to reflect your desired resolution.

DisplayHeight=720


Bear in bind that the game requires a minimum vertical resolution of 768, so the text or other items may be affected by the lower 720 resolution.
