New noob here

from WinCustomize Forums
Hi all :)

just got into this and found it very cool so far :) downloading skins and everything, tho I have a lil question about that.
I'm sorry if I posted this in the wrong thread so feel free to move it :p anyway, downloading skins is easy but
getting the correct wallpaper belonging to that skin I really cant figure out. Perhaps I'm just looking in the wrong
places. :)

a lot of skins don't come with a wallpaper

if they do, they usually mention it in the description

if they don't, the description may have a link to the wall used (or you may find the link posted later in the comments)

sometimes the wall doesn't get properly associated with the skin

are you sure the skin has a wall?

can you post some links to some skins you are referring to?

Sometimes skins don't have related walls from the first place ;)

many times though , you can write to the author and ask him/her where the wall can be obtained. unless it's a copyright thing , I'm pretty sure they will point you in the right direction.

also....take the time to read the author notes about the skin, most times you will find if they are including the wallpaper or not and or where to find it....
