hey i really need help with mods

from Sins Forums
ok well iv seen a number of good mods from the community and i want to use them for playing mainly the particle effect style mods that change the look of lasers and rockets for the better. well i have vista so that may be the reason but i have downloaded the files but then when i read what to do they tell me to put it in a applications folder for Sins that dosent exsist for me. do any of you know where i can find this folder?

folder options -> check "show hidden files and folders"

The folder that you say doesnt exist is most likly hidden.

Go to My Computer and at the top type in the following:

C:\Users\[User Name]\AppData\Local\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire

(Replace username with the Username you are using)

In this folder you should see a Mod's folder. If you dont right click and create new folder and name it "Mods"

Open that folder and Put the Mod in there.
