Shipyards Disappearing

Just gone

from GalCiv2 Forums

I am playing a game of Dark Avatar (not the campaign) and on a few of my planets my shipyards just disappeared, and I can't find a way to rebuild them.  What's going on?  I did not decommission them or anything...

Did you accidentally 'upgrade' them to something else?

No I don't think so. Even if I did, it still would not let me rebuild them on any open tile.

Once you take away a starport from a planet, you can not build a new one on that planet. This is by design.

I've never had a starport disappear and i believe that what Kryo suggested is what happened. That you accidentally built something over it. Can you verify that the tile the starport was on is now BLANK, or is there something else on it?

Are we talking about starbases here? - If so, I am also seeing this. They still exist, they can still be selected etc, but the graphic has gone...
