What's happening in the WC Community

It has been some time since anyone made a post about what's going on in the WC Community.  :SURPRISED: 

If my memory hasn't failed me there are currently three Community Skinning Projects ongoing.  Two are several months old and from the links shown Zubaz and Jafo are in charge of leading them, if that's even possible.   :LOL:    Anyone want to give an update as to how things are going?

The third project came about by TheD2JBug asking the community if they would like put a Tribute to BoXXi together.  One heck of an idea.  :HOT:

Just this week Zoomba posted about the GUIC 08.  I've seem folks putting together teams for this all ready :CONGRAT:

It does look like some busy times ahead for the WC Community.  Considering that new skins are showing up in the WC Gallery Libraries daily the skinners of the Community are not going to be having a lot of free time on their hands.   

Now it's possible I may have missed some project going on.  If I have please post about it in a reply.

Now what could I have missed, well DUH, while all this is going on Stardock will only be putting out more updates, and what about the Stardock Design Team............Hmmmmm wonder what they might be working on.  :SURPRISED:

I echo those sentiments... with all that's going on/the anticipation of all the great things to come, and all the fantastic people who frequent the place, I get a warm fuzzy feeling inside... well all over, actually, every time I log into WC.

Jaffa here....

'My' Community Skin project got strong-armed by two separate events.  That pesky Zubaz posted his 'Community Skin' project first, and by the time it was underway with sufficient space so as not to confuse people with 2 running along comes the 'lead-up' to the GUI Championships - the 'one big' event for 2008.

Next year I'll simply exile Zubaz before posting/starting ....;)

Next time Jafo says that this community isn't big enough for the two of us I'll have proof!

As an aside . . I thought my little thing would be over and done with by now.  Apologies to all who were interested in Jafo's Community project.  If I thought mine was going to be as big as it was or take as long I would have done things differently.
