I have tried to edit some pictures from the files and when i saved them again it turns out that the files are now in a bad sitch or not a good quality and distorted like a charcoal pls help out

Have you read any of the bootskin tutorials? The format is very specific.
You might also try out Bootskin Buddy

well .... obviously converting an image in 4 bit .... u cant ask a good quality ....
