Mods under 1.04 and in 1.05

How does updating efect the mods I am using.  They worked under 1.04, but will 1,05 not work with them?  To my understanding, mods create an alternate source for the game files, so the mods would use the game files from 1.04.  Will this mean the update will not actually affect the game, as the source is the mod?

1.05 was mostly bugfixes so the data changes should be minimal, but your best bet is to check the 1.05 modding reference files and compare. I don't *think* there is anything that would outright cause the game to crash though between 1.04 and 1.05 if you don't change it, but the Malice buff changes you'd at least need to update.
