Will not launch game

nothing but blue/black screen

I just bought this game.  I installed it. I checked for updates. It dowloaded and installed.  I open the game and my system locks.  Nothing on the screen.  Screen is dark blue, almost black, and nothing else.  I can not alt+tab or ctlr+alt_del.  I have to hard reboot by holding down the power button.  I restart.  it asks me to restart normal or in safe mode.  I go normal.  Windows vista starts shows screen fine and then flashes and changes my resolution to 800x600.

I have tried repairing my installation.  I have not tried uninstalling and reinstalling yet.

I am trying to run it on a new XPS m1530.  2.5ghz, 4gb ram, 256 gt nvidia.  It should run.  All drivers are to date.

Any suggestions?

I would recommend e-mailing [email protected] with a dxdiag, they should be able to help you out as well.

"If you aren't able to load the game or it crashes right away you probably need to uninstall Sins, manually delete everything in the Sins directory and install directly from Stardock Central "
