How can I increase my fleet capacity?

Hi, I am newbie in this game. Play the first small map. TEC race

I feel frustated to play it when I cannot increase my fleet capacity. I always outnumbered by pirates & opponent.

How is the method to increase my fleet capacity?

This game is so unsimple compared to my favourite 3D space RTS game : Homeworld.

Go to the research screen (top, middle of the screen). Select Logistics, then upgrade Fleet Supply from there. Beware though, the higher supply you go for, the higher upkeep you have to pay in percentage.
