Startdock Central patch 1.04.022

My Stardock Central account reports that I have 1.04 patch on my machine but there is a 1.04.022 patch available to install.

Can anyone tell me what this patch is and weather its worth updating or should I stick with 1.04 to avoid incompatability issues.

It's the same thing. The last 3 digits of the version number are for internal use. The standalone patch shows at 1.04, but SDC has it as 1.04.022 even though there's no difference. ;)

Exactly. The standalone installer will read as 1.04, Stardock Central has 1.04.022, and Impulse has 1.04.025. But they're all the same. :)

For a while you might find that occurs often. Since Stardock Central is slowly being phased out the developers are keeping track of what gets published where. It will say you can update to the new version but if the first two sets of numbers do not change then nothing else will. You won't see this as often once Stardock Central isn't up and running any more of course but there is no definite time line on that yet.
