No Connection under Vista Ultimate

Hello, today i've downloaded the trial version and tried to install on two machines, both running windows vista ultimate 32bit. After several reboots i still can't get a connection to the secondary pc. The TCP-port 30564 in both windows firewalls is open, although these firewalls are closed. Usually i use Kaspersky Internet Security, but i had closed it before installing Multiplicity. The 2 PC's are connected via Fritz.Box 7170, also port 30564 open. Then i typed "netstat -n -a" in a dos box , but i didn't see the entry : "TCP 0.0.0.0:30564 0.0.0.0:0 LISTENING" Why doesn't it work? Please help! om1969

I'm seeing something similar. I've got 2 machines both running Vista 32 bit. Troubleshooting on the primary completes successfully, while troubleshooting on the secondary shows winlogon.dll is not running. The secondary machine shows tcp 30564 listening, but I do not see a corresponding entry on the primary. The primary icon in the system tray shows disconnected, and reloading both systems did not help. Any ideas on how I can get things working?

Same here, just installed on a new Secondary. I also don't see any open ports for multiplicity via netstat.

I'd start a case with stardock at [email protected]

It isn't installing the Stardock Multiplcity Service and thus there is no MultiSrv.exe running. I have uninstalled and installed from the 1.20 installer as well as upgraded to the latest vis Stardock Central and there still is no service installed. I am an Administrator and UAC is disabled.
