Weapon loadout amount

Hey ladies and gents.

I took a look around these forums and found that in one post, it was said that SINS engine ignores weapons above number 3. However, I took a look at the loadout of the Kol on Sins Wiki, and it's got a hell load of weapon batteries.

So I'm confused...whats the max amount of weapons allowed?

Its 3 types of fixed weapons not 3 in total, you can have weapon abilities on top of that though like the Kol gauss gun and planet bombardment.

Ooooh, now I get it, I think. Example: Deardnought, 10 missile bays on two sides, two aft automatic railguns, 6 ship-to-ship automatic railguns, 3 forward heavy rail cannons - Thus, rail, automatic rail and missile. Can that work?

Actually, there is another limit - there can be only up to 10 hardpoints per weapon type. So you couldn't have 10 missile bays on either side, unless you dedicated a separate weapon type to each side. Anything above 10 hardpoints is reported to make the game unstable.

ManSh00ter, does that mean there are a maximum of 30 weapon points (10 for each type of weapon)? Or, does it mean that the points for each weapon must sum to 10 (5 of type 0, 2 of type 1, and 3 of type 2 is an example)?

10 for each type, not only the weapon dummy, but also exhaust and ability.
