I'm sick and tired of the "Christians say they're victimized. Christians want a theocracy." Know your facts!

 

Christians are definitely picked on. If I wave a cross at a school, I would be emo, goth, or, whaddayaknow, a Jesus Freak. 

Also, I do not want a theocracy. They scare me. Big time.

The statement "The average Christian does not disagree with evolution!" seriously ticks me off. If you are fine with evolution, you are not a Christian. Get over it. Either be, or be not. There is no try.

Freedom of speech doesn't mean freedom from people responding to what you are saying. You know what, I wore a cross through a decent portion of high school (more a goth myself) and don't recall any comments about it. I do recall a teacher making an issue about a tiny cross pin I had worn upside down though.

Most religions can be looked at as theocracies by their very nature.

I think the Catholic church would disagree with you on that, but I would guess you don't consider anyone who disagrees with your chosen flavor of Christianity a "real Christian".

I think you need to follow your own advice and know your facts.  Or even better know that what you believe to be facts are really opinions.  Luckily we live in a country where we are all free to express whatever beliefs we want.
