How big could an icon be back then?

I don't recognize any of those names.  I wonder if any are still skinning?

Good stuff Zoomba. Interesting to see original submissions and how icons have progressed since then.  :)

Yes, Copland and D.O.T. and other Japanese Icon Artists were pretty big those time. Both quit icon making. :-( I think many of those old icons were done pixel by pixel.

Icons have come a long way. Most of those were ported from the Mac sets. Nowadays people are turning out amazing stuff.

Yeah!!! I remember the first time that I found this website... I spend hours, days, downloading iconpacks. I never thought that I would be capable of to make my own iconthemes... Just on 2004 I began to turn a little bit the concept of iconography with this 3D wave. I need to thanks to all that people that encourage me to do it. Cheers!

I remember that iMac package, used it for a long time. Copland's were awesome too. Brings back memories, doesn't it? :)
