Pervasive Economy, how to tell?

My question may noob so I apologize in adavance. BUT!

How can you tell how much income you're pulling in from Pervasive Economy? I know when you hover over the income/resources tabs it shows you how much per second you're pulling in, but does it also show what you're siphoning off from the other empires? IS there a way to see how much you're generating?

Kind of a dumb question because you get 10% of money spent by other factions. It's not a constant rate, you'll see your credits jump up by hundreds at a time.
How is that supposed to be represented?

I don't know, maybe a seperate window or some menu that keeps a log of money flowing/resources flowing in? So, because I had a question Im dumb? All I was looking for was an answer sir/madam, not an insult with attitude. Thanks anyways.

It doesn't show income from Embargo either.

Does pervasive economy work with all three resources, or only when credits are spent?
also, will it work on anything that you buy?
