windowblinds operation erratic

After using the trial version of WB6, I purchased the full version, and after downloading I noticed the main window didn't "fit" properly on the monitor as well as the trial did.  since then I've experienced things like themes not loading completely (white or blank areas within theme, etc.) and have been able to correct after two or three attempts in a row loading that same skin.  also the main window itself seems to break up and act unstable (or freeze) at times.  also when closing the window, it stays on the screen, and when i pass the curser over it, it "erases" that part of the window. the only way I can completely remove it is to open and maximize a new program and close itagain.  I uninstalled and reinstalled the program once already, re-registered it, etc. but no improvement.  Please advise what I do next...  I ran a registry, virus and spyware scans, etc and as far as I can see my machine is clean.

Dell dinension 3000,Pentium 4, 3 ghz,  1gb ram, 160 gb hard drive, windows XP Professional SP-1, purchased 2004.

Sounds like you installed the paid version over the top of the trial version. De-install WindowBlinds and reboot. Re-install WindowBlinds using Stardock Central and reboot again.

You also might be having troubles due to old video drivers. Please check to see if there are any available updates for your graphics card. Let me know if that helps.
