Start Menu Not Working

I have Windows XP SP2 and just started using Object Dock which works very well/

I intend to switch off my Window start bar etc but have the following problem I would like to resolve

When I click on Start menu the Window menu opens then I get the following "StartMenu helper file was injected but failed to take effect. can not show start menu at this time, please try again."

Can anyone advise

From Stardock support:

We are still working on this issue. Some of it was addressed in the alpha that is available through Impluse if you would like to try it.

Many people have said they found it to be the fix they needed. Keep in mind this is a beta downloading tool, and a alpha build of the software. Use at your own risk.

If you have these persistant troubles I would suggest rolling back to the full release or going forward with this beta.

Installed Impulse and installed the Beta that showed as an update.
This did not cure the problem but it did cause me to loss my weather which was functioning before .

All this aside I have to say this is a great utility, something I have been looking for for a while.

Just need to be patient until you iron out these little bugs.

Sorry for the trouble. The beta shouldn't have touched the weather docklet. Are you still unable to use it?

The start menu works once alright but the second time I get the same fault as described above.

Ok well it is still an ongoing bug that is going to be fixed as soon as the next update is put out. My apologies for that. There isn't a work around at the moment I am afraid.

I am glad to hear that the weather gadget is working for you however. If you should have any specific questions about Obejct Dock you can always ask them here or through [email protected].
