deskscapes

i bought deskscaps 2.0

but if i start up a deskscape and select the deskscapes animated wallpapers it works

but after some time (around 10 minutes ) my screen turns black

if i push "ctrl+alt+del" nothing happens and after a while the pc reboots

once back in windows i get the message it has recoverd from an error (BSOD)

 

spec's are :

-vista home premium 64 bit sp 1

-amd x2 6000+, 4gig ram, 8800gts,

 

anyone know a solution or has the same problem ?

I haven't heard of it working for a short period of time and then stop working.

To cover the basics make sure that you have an MPEG2 codec installed (which you should because it ran for even a short bit).

Also make sure your video drivers are up to date.

Currently the purchase you made it still a beta. It is only supposed to run on Ultimate from the stand alone purchase. Once the full update for 2.0 goes live then it should work fine.

Object Desktop subscribers have the latest update to the beta that allows for all types of installations of . The trial version will also work on all types of but will only run the dreams it comes with.

So what you have there is very strange. If you don't mind please try uninstalling Deskscapes and going to the web site again and download and install the trial version. See if it runs the dreams it comes with normally or if the same thing happens.

interesting... I'm having a similair problem.. it just freezes after about 10 mins... that's it... everything still works fine on my system... but I have a frozen wallpaper once again... I changed the performance settings down as low as they could go... and now it doesn't seem to be doing that anymore... I wonder if that would solve the problem for you... and interestingly enough I also have an 8800 graphics card... I wonder if thats the problem...
