Is there a way to make DeskTop Icons invisible?

So that only my ObjectDock Icons remain?

I'm wondering if it's possible to set your Desktop Icons to disappear completely or at least not be shown. I want to do this so ONLY my Object Dock Icons remain, but if I ever want to not have ObjectDock running, I can have my regular icons showing as usual. Is this possible?

yes and it's easy to do :)

Right click on your desktop, chose "organize desktop icon" or whatever it's call in english (it's the first menu) then uncheck the "show desktop icons" (again whatever it's called in english french windows here so ;) )

Just remember it hides everthing including what you've placed there, downloads,shortcuts,files and folders,copied images, etc. You'll have to show icons again to see them. :D

awesome, thanks a million! I was thinking that might screw up something or I'd have to rearrange them again. Now to just organize them into the tabs and I'll be good. :-P

I have 3 sets. the Tab 1, Tab 2, etc. set / the miniature dock / the regular dock. Also the skin with the taskbar. All will be setup different purposes though.

TaskBar = programs in use and such

Dock on Left = Apps for everything icons were

Top = Business Stuff

Tabbed = Private whatever

Also you can try the freewares:
Iconoid (let's disappear the icons automatically after a customizable desktop idle period) WWW Link
DeskSweeper (in 1 click from the taskbar the icons disappear \+ eventually you can minimize all the open windows)
