Newb: Question about the maps in the Galaxy Folder

So when I play the normal name i see the Small Random maps. But when I look in the galaxy Folder I see things like Large Multisystem Random.

is there a way to play these sort of maps? Or do i have to unlock something?

Maybe Im off the mark but you know when you goto play a map is says small random or something well if you look nearish to the lower end of the screen there should be a button change map types and it goes something like small maps, medium maps, huge maps so to get bigger maps press that button and it cycles them by category.
