Novalith Interruptus

    I was playing a game with 3ais on a small map.  Late in the game I had two novaliths and had spammed them awhile. But then it wouldnt shoot. I know it wont shoot t a player you have a peace treaty with. This was not the case.  It didnt even show the cooling-down icon (with the slowly receding red bar), or the ready-to-shoot icon.  It was just a circle with a red bar at the bottom of the screen.  Any ideas why this happened?

Were you trying to target the same planet you'd already hit once before? If you wiped the population out to zero and the AI hadn't recolonized it, the planet is basically neutral and you will be unable to target it.

Had you scuttled one or more of your military labs? It requires 7 labs to build AND you must maintain 7 labs for it to work.

i think i know what your talking about. your novalith cannon looses its abbility to be used in anyway if you lose one of your weapons labs. so if you sold one or it was destroyed all of your cannons wont show the icon that lets you fire it
