annoing background issue (random color junk)

i bought sins last week and have poasted on a thread that was never actually fixed. my issue is that the background has random color junk rather then the little white dots we like to call stars. i have updated my video card drivers and that accomplished nothing, please help me figure out what's wrong i love games like sins but i cant play with random colors for a background.

Are you using bootcamp on a mac? IIRC those cases were resolved by using standard drivers, rather than the ones Apple provides.

i am useing a hp pavillion a1730n in which i installed my 512mb video card other than that everything in my computer is standard. there's nothing special about it, i wonder if possibly there is a dll file missing from my cd or something along those lines, i'll see if downloading the game will fix it.

nevermind "the code writing pidgeons" screwed up so i cant get to my registartions where if i'm not mistaken i can download what i bought in store.

No, you download the game through Stardock Central (or Impulse Beta). You can register your serial # through either of those programs and it has nothing to do with the site's registrations page :)
