Do I have to uninstall every piece of software?

In preperation for ObjectDesktop 2008?

I want to install Impulse and OD2008 but don't want to go through reinstalling Icon Packager and ObjectDock Plus and all the other pieces of software that I use.

No need to uninstall. Impulse will detect your previous installation.

Opaline1 Intall Impulse and it should pick up all the programs that you currently have installed. If you get ObjectDesktop you will install those that you want to use that come with it. Don't forget that there are now two levels of ObjectDekstop. Hope that helps.
