I love ObjectDock. However, it greatly slows 3D performance. I have spent hours tracking down the cause of my 3D problems, and there is no doubt that it is ObjectDock. When I run ObjectDock, performance slows dramatically based on the Passmark 3D graphics test. When I close Objectdock, performance goes back up. This is not a slight difference - the Passmark rating falls from around 1200 fps to 4 fps. Can anyone offer a solution?

bob32256 the first question that comes to mind is could it be a docklet on your dock that is causing the problem and not ObjectDock?
What OS are you using?
What version of ObjectDock?
When you say problems with 3D graphics and performance, overall or just with games?
You have probably check this but are your graphic drivers current? What graphics card?
Your answers will give those who read this post information so they can try and help.

Are you on XP?
Do you have an ATI graphics card?
Have you forced AntiAliasing in the ATI driver settings?
and
Is your 3D app running in a window?
If the answer is yes to all of those then you are experiencing a problem with the ATI drivers when anything semi transparent is on screen with a 3D window when antialiasing is forced on (or enabled in the app)

Sorry - I should have included this information from the beginning.
* Windows CP
* The first indication of my graphics problems was with Google Earth. It had been working well, then suddenly slowed to the point that buildings appeared one at a time, very slowly. I also used PCPitstop and Passmark's graphics tests.
* My graphics problems began while I was using an Nvidia card. They continued after I switched to an ATI card (X1950Pro). Both are AGP cards. I didn't isolate anything to ObjectDock until I had already switched to the ATI card.
* In the process of changing AGP cards, I did a fresh install of Windows XP.
* I installed the latest ATI drivers from the ATI website. Antialiasing is set to "application managed".
* I downloaded the latest version of ObjectDock today. I have not added any docklets.
Thanks to both of your for your help. I will appreciate any suggestions.
