Single player/mid-game ->Victory Screen -> PC reboots

Computer rebooted so I was not able to submit an error report so reporting here.

 

V1.04 installed, first time I've encountered this: played about 10 hrs, 3 games so far - was about 3/4 thru a Medium size random map vs. 5 AI players - suddenly Victory screen comes up but it's frozen, no "click to continue" buttons appear, 5 seconds later PC reboots.

 

Anyone else seen this or know what happened?  Wondering if I'll be able to continue from last Autosave - I just shut down PC and went to bed so dunno yet if it will happen again at same point in game.

Never seen that happening. If you could replicate that crash, please do so and send the savegame where it happens, minidump if one got created (probably not) and a description of what had happened to [email protected].

So the devs get a chance to fix it, if is anything game wise. :)

Usually when a PC spontaneously reboots it's a powersupply, heat issue or flaky hardware. Sounds to me like as a game goes on (and more and more stress is put on your hardware) something isn't getting the power it wants and voila reboot! Or something (ie. Video Card) is overheating and viola reboot. Could also by flaky hardware (ie. RAM) that isn't used most of the time, but in a longer game.... Some things to check out.
