broken links and a broken password

k, I can't remember my password for this site and managed to get back in by following the link in my email to activate my account for the forums.

attempting to click the link to get my password reset fails because the link is broken - wherever it appears on the site.

can someone look into this and possibly email me for a followup?

Haven't actually tried the link myself, but the first thing you should try is clearing out the temp files on whatever browser your using. Cookies and cached files primarily. Sometimes a cached file will become slightly fragmented or corrupt on your HDD but still load into the browser b/c the link address is all thats messed up, or the link could have been updated on the site to a new location and your computer is still trying to use an old one. After that its probably a broken link issue. The page can also corrupt during transit the first time you download it. Doesn't happen often, but does happen. Deleting the cached version and trying it again should also fix that.

Other than that you'd need a mod of some sort to give you a hand. Hope I helped :)
