Evening ladies and gents!

 

I recently picked up this awesome game, and the first thing it showed me was "update" game. I'm now running version 1.4, which I assumed meant I was up to date. Being an ex "Freelancer" and other Galactic-esque style game player, I figured there would be the ability to create Player-modifications to this game.

So, I cruised over here, and what did I find? A playground of awesome mods! Some real talent has gone into a lot of this stuff, and I was looking forward to using some of these awesome upgrades. Sadly, I see nothing that says "version 1.4 compatible". Did this patch recently come out, and are all mods currently out for this game hosed?

I would love a bit of info on this from the modding community, because I really do enjoy checking out the work that people put into this game they appear to love so much.

The patch did just come out a few days ago, but the devs have been very accommodating and provided us with version 1.04 files -before- the actual patch release, so everyone should be pretty well along with making everything 1.04 compatible. Can't speak to any of the mods out there right now, I haven't gotten around to D/Ling the patch yet (I'm exceptionally lazy), but I'd be willing to bet if they aren't 1.04 ready yet they will be in just a few days.
