WB6 & Hyperpaint

What is Hyperpaint, and what advantages (disadvantages) are there if I enable it? At what setting should the grab bar be set?  Also there are two check boxes in the same dialog box... "disable standard windows animation effects" and "optimize resizing performance with Cleartype".  How do these affect the way Hyperpaint functions?

Hyperpaint uses the extra video RAM on your video card to "buffer" your windows which makes moving them on screen possible without any repainting.

the other two functions don't relate to hyperpaint directly at all (I don't think).  They all have to do with improved visibility and animation though.
