Can you explain about the four MyColors themes for OD subscribers? I'm about to purchase a few but don't know which ones will be available for subscribers. Also, is "Quest" one of the four? Thanks.

ODNT2k8 won't mean much to those of us already subscribed.  We already have everything available.  We were even upgrade to Ultimate so we get the new stuff.

Subscribing won't make a difference until new apps are released or if you are a new subscriber.

Is there any new SUITE(S) included for the celebration?

I think those four themes will be released sometime in the future and will be original.  Best to wait for a better answer if you have concerns.

Currently Quest is bundled with MyColors when installed, but it is not one of the "four" as it is already available for free out on the MyColors web page.  We will be releasing them throughout the year.

snake: there is no change for existing users as mentioned above. We just get bumped up automatically to ODNT Ultimate, which is pretty kewl thing.

Let me just add a few things to clear up any questions.

  • If you had a current subscription to Object Desktop then you were automatically updated to Object Desktop Ultimate.  No action is required on your part.
  • If you already have Object Desktop components installed, then you don't need to do anything.  Just check Stardock Central, or Impulse, for regular updates to the applications.

Go into the Registrations tab in Impulse, it should say ODNT Ultimate there.

Here's a question that possibly others may have.

When Stardock Design releases skin or suites just for subscribers now will they be shown as before under Object Desktop as Premium Skins and Suites or will they now be released through My Colors?  :NOTSURE:

Or am I mixing apples and oranges?

YAY!!! Now I don't intend to be unappreciative or demanding, but I'm excited to learn everything I can about this stuff. So when can I expect documentation (updated wiki)...?
