lan help

I have one copy of sins and I have installed it on a friend of mine's computer as well as my own and when i try to make a lan game it says, does not have necessary files or something.  The game that I host is not a custom map or anything, does anyone know the problem?  thanks in advance.

There is a difference in the game files, simple as that. Make sure that there aren't any mods enabled.

Go to Options, then Mods, and make sure any mods displayed are disabled. And make sure no mods are enabled for startup.
