Open the WindowBlinds Configuration screen and click on "System info" and then "Copy text". Paste that info here.

Event Viewer; what's the error say?
1) Started WB
2) changed to a 'Diamond' theme
3) checked Event viewer:

Event Type: Information
Event Source: Service Control Manager
Event Category: None
Event ID: 7035
Date: 4/7/2008
Time: 14:37:51 PM
User: NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM
Computer: THELAB010
Description:
The Themes service was successfully sent a start control.

For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

4) right clicked the taskbar and watched the explorer restart
5) checked Event viewer .. no error in any of the logs :(

Anywhere else I can look for error logs?

Tx.

Console/ Services: set Themes service to Auto. Re-boot.

Looked in Services (control panel/Admin tools/Services) .. and it is already set to 'Automatic'.

I'll turn it off .. then set to automatic and re-boot just in case.

Ok .. so unfortunately that didn't help.

But I have found the issue. By default, the nVidia software has nView enabled with a list of desktop features. I turned this off and now WB works fine :)

To be more specific, in nView properties I have disabled all nView Desktop Management features.

Thanks for the suggestions, it was good to have feedback :)

End of quote

I had the same exact problem and it was in fact nView. But, instead of completly disableing nView I found the problem only occured when "Enable window spamming across multiple displays" wasn't checked in the window tab in the nView settings.
