I managed to download and activate the newer version but now i have a new new Problem.

when i go to biuld new improvements on my planets the basic versions never show up until i research the next level of technology and some like the tech. capitol never show up any ideas??? THANKS

Theres a tab at the top of all the improvements that says something like NEW/OLD/ALL. Try toggling between those.
