Wallpapers From 5 Years Ago

I thought it would be fun to take a look back to around this time in 2003 and see what was going on in the galleries, specifically wallpapers.  Going through the hundreds of pages of wallpapers I noticed quite a few familiar names, and some for reasons unknown, we just don't see anymore.

Over the years in skinning and customization, we see trends come and go often.  Some do stay around, and after seeing what seemed like countless wallpaper entries I noticed that you could still recognize someone's "style" even after 5 or so years.  That is not a bad thing at all, and it was enjoyable to see how some skinners have progressed over time.

So with that being said, take a look at some wallpapers that were submitted to the WinCustomize gallery in March/April of 2003.

I often use Nuvem's walls. There is nothing these days that even scratches the surface of the quality demonstrated in them.

I have 'all' of Helder's [Nuvem's] .... and trundle over to see what Russ [Dangeruss] has been up to lately from time to time...

And yes, I remember them....I did the majority of the Wall moderation....;)

"LaST (Cobalt) V1 by mormegil" i still use this wall from time to time... great stuff.. i go for some of the older cleaner stuff.. i still haven't found a wb to beat Essorants "Retro" ...

I remember DAWN, LaST and Light Armor. The only one I ever used was DAWN, but I remember LaST from the matching skin and Icon-series, and I remember Light Armor because it caused a bit of a "discussion" back then. :)

Nuvem's NOP wall is still in my collection! And yes I still use it to this day mated with Gef's Fusion DX Theme! The two together look really nice, always have, always will! Cp  :CONGRAT:

I still use LightArmor ... It is "the best" wall I have ever had
