HELP - Where do my created ships go?

Hi there. Not sure if I am going mad, or if I have a legitimate concern, but when I assign a rally point for my newly created ships, how do I easily see where they are going? At the moment it seems that I am stuck with not knowing where my assigned rally point is. Your help would be appreciated.

Mousing over the Rally Point button will tell you what ship it's assigned to and if that ship is on the screen, it'll thrum and have the rally point icon over it briefly. If looking at in-transit ships, holding down Alt will display their jump paths. Quite handy in the thick of things.

Sorry - rereading my message, it is a little ambiguous. My concern is in actually locating my already assigned rally points. How do I know to where a planet is sending my ships by default without having to search around in every system for a rally point icon?

How do I know to where a planet is sending my ships by default without having to search around in every system for a rally point icon?

Hover mouse pointer over the planet's rally point button and the pop-up tells you which destination planet the rally point is set to.
