Interrupted phase jump won't resume

I'll go with an example.

My cap ship is under attack and I got to run away, so I order my ship to phase jump somewhere else.
Phases jump is initialized and then the opponent uses an ability to disable all ships functions and make it invulnerable. Once the ability times out, I expect my ship to re-initialize the jump. But, since my ship was interrupter while charging the phase jump, it won't resume automatically. I have to reorder it to do it. Instead, it jumps backs into battle.

It's quite annoying because if I order a ship to jump away, I don't expect to have to keep an eye on it in case it suddenly return into the fight which I wanted to leave.

Maybe the game intend to work that way to punish cowards? ;)

It's always worked that way, byproduct of how the game engine functions. It can be annoying if you're not watching the battle, but it's not a bug :P A while back the dev team said they'll think about how to make it a bit friendlier, but that's probably taken a little back seat to some other things they're working on.

It's not just phase jumping either. All orders get permanently interrupted with abilities that cause interrupts.

Hum. It didn't seem to me that it canceled everything.

As long as phase jump was not initialized, my ship would pursue it's course to the perimeter and initialize it as soon as the ability was off. It's only when the ability was used after the initialization that it wouldn't resume.

I didn't bother testing again, so I might be wrong.

Thanks

It might also be possible that they snuck in a change, to be honest it's been a long time since I paid attention to that specifically :)
