Installing game on 2nd machine: Licensing/other isssues?

I would like to install Galactic Civilizations II and the expansion(s) on my laptop, with the intention of being able to continue my saved games from my primary machine while on the road, or, more likely in my case, on the backyard deck once the weather here in Michigan starts to improve (sometimes it's nice to get out of the basement office and watch the deer and rabbits run through the trees    )

Any problems with this?  I haven't tried it yet.

More spceific questions:

1) Would I have to buy another license?

 -1b) If not, would I have to "re-activate" the game each time I switched from desktop to latpop?

2) Would this cause problems with posting MetaVerse games?
