problems with downloading some things from stardock central

hi, i bought object desktop yesterday and everything going ok but when try to down load some things like windowblinds 6 and some others as well....keeps timing out on me....help please....

In SDC, go to Tools | Settings | Internet and change the current server.

I think it automatically tries the other server when the selected one fails.

The (x86) seems a strange addition to the path. Is that an actual file loaction?

It is for a 64 bit version of windows. It is the program files directory for 32 bit apps.

I assume that didn't do it.......

Click on SDC and "Run as Administrator". Install the 6.09g beta.

I read smewhere about cookies to be swiched on for this....not too sure about that if it is but i wonder if I would if been able to download anything if it was off. I got skinstudio pro, Icon Dev,Desksapes+maker, no Dreams, Tap pad, right Click so on...... Any ideas? Am running as admin no probs there....

I don't want to step into the discussion with such a basic suggestion but try reinstalling. Also delete your current cookies just to be safe.

Here are the online instructions that are given out.

 -Run the file here: http://sd.stardock.com/mike/apps/remove_sdc.bat
 -Restart your computer
 -Reinstall SDC from here: http://sdc.stardock.com/sdcentral_setup.exe
