Maps that come with the game

I bought this game via Stardock and installed it from a digital download. When I  was reading the manual on my computer it shows a lot more single player maps in a screenshot than I actually have with the game when I go to single player? Do maps get unlocked or something as you win certain maps in single player or what is going here?

I have no maps that have over 3 players in the single player so If I want to make a 6 player or 8 player game etc I have to make all the maps myself which is a pain in the butt and also I dont like to do because then I know the makeup of the galaxy I am playing since I made it.

Maps aren't unlocked at all, at the bottom of the map selection there's a "change maps" button that switches between Small/Medium/Large map sizes and Custom maps :)

oof i knew it the first person to come with this

lets just say i was lucky to notice the "change" button on time....

would be much better 2 list the games from small to large in 1 window

It used to list all the maps in the same window, but the list was quite large :P

I don't know, I kinda like having them in separate categories so I don't have to click on each individual map to know the size :)

We have so many people not understanding this and how to get onto ICO..

They really need to change the maps to a tree view.

And "Multiplayer" Needs to be changed to say "LAN" and the setting up an account for ICO more idiot-proof. :/


Apparently some people are too stupid to see that Multiplayer is LAN and instead of going back and trying the IronCladOnline next they just go "omg how 2 online".. but .. i guess it's beneficial to "fix" it.

Well the button looks like a part of the graphics I didnt look all the way down to notice it really.
