Looking around for a VISTA skin that has multiple features!

Think MetalX2 etc!

Hiya,

I've been looking around for a skin for windows vista, that has multiple settings to be configured, a lot of buttons, and hopefully nice winamps controls too, I was just wondering if you guys can recommend anything! I'm thinking something along the lines of MetalX2 for vista!

There's a growing library of Vista compatible skins now.....some are VERY good......however,

I haven't seen a skin with Winamp controls since the days of Windowblinds v3 (:(
You don't even need a roll-up button anymore since Neil put that into the configuration for right-clicking on the titlebar. In fact I remember seeing a recent update where he mentioned adding support for more buttons than the standard 3. ;)

if you like metal, why not try brushed metal for vista.....it hasnt been released long and its a good skin........... im assuming your after a metal skin, if im wrong my appologies.

I was referring to the functionality of the metalX2 skin :( I want to find a skin for vista with a lot of settings/buttons to play around with! any ideas!?

8SE8, the catch is that the fancy per-pixel window frames introduced a couple years ago with WB5 haven't supported any additional buttons aside from the standard min/max/close. And since everybody likes to make skins with the smoothest, cleanest looking window frames possible, we aren't seeing many new skins with the old style window frames and lots of extra buttons.

On the bright side, per-pixel window frames now support a few custom buttons as of very recently, so perhaps in the near future we'll see more modern skins with extra functionality.
