I do not have this game yet but it is coming in the mail in like a week. I know you can rename ships and all but I was wondering, is it possible that you can rename the AI, like you can in like Galactic Civ and all?

You can with a very quick and easy mod, but by default the game randomly picks through 30 different AI names (10 per race).

Ah I see. The mod that you use, is it the one that's included in the game or some other mod?

Well, you'd make your own

The only thing you'd need to do is open the file that has all the strings in Notepad, and change the AI names the game picks from to whatever you like. It'd literally take you a few minutes
