Galaxy Forge Maps unable to be played after v1.03

None of the maps downloaded from the SOASE download page work anymore. I've been told to oepn them through notepad and turn the version number to 1, but then it refuses to save. On maps that i create, i can easily turn the version to "1" and see them on the game (when choosing a map to play) but when played---it is auto defeat.

Solutions?

If you're using GalaxyForge to create maps, you can replace the "GalaxyScenarioDef.GalaxyScenarioDef" file in the GalaxyForge folder with a copy of the newer version of the same file from the Sins game directory; after this, any maps you create in GalaxyForge will be 1.03 compliant from the get-go. Note, it may be a good idea to back up the old "GalaxyScenarioDef" file first. Or, come to think of it, you could create a complete copy of GalaxyForge itself, and have one with the old file and one with the new one; just make sure you remember which is which.

As for the instant-victory thing...I dunno. I think it was mentioned in the other thread on this subject that I saw a few days ago, but I can't seem to find that thread any more.

I downloaded the new 1.03 GF ref files, moved the new folders to the game directory, and STILL can't get a newly created map to appear on the Custom map list in game.
